This is Teisho from our weekly zazen sitting at Hakone Gardens. Zengo are given as part of the"teisho" (teaching) at the end of the zazen period. The phrases are meant to encourage students to deepen their own understanding of the meaning by opening "shin" (heart/mind).

Rev Ito reviewed his lecture note which he gave to students at Hakone in 2001. When he reviewed, he realized he need to add 1 more important thing, "Shu Jin Ko"
